On a monthly basis, your Account Manager will visit you to explain to you what your accounts mean and how you might be able to improve existing processes. Our employees are CPAs with over 15 years experience. All our staff are mentored by qualified CPAs and there are ongoing career progression and Continual Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

You will have exclusive use of our templates and forms if required and we can assist you with training existing staff members. We can even place your bookkeeper through a skills test to review their training requirements for the next 12 months.

End of year requirements all usually hit at the end of financial year, we work on them progressively through-out the year so there are no nasty surprises. The size package you choose will be based on your budget and the number of transactions you have. You can choose to pay weekly / fortnightly or monthly.

Recruitment Services - Accounting Staff

For a small cost of just $2,000 + GST we can help you write a job advertisement & upload it on seek.com.au under our BeanCounters 2U template. That way the job remains absolutely confidential and you will not be hassled by enquiries from both applicants and headhunters. We can then help you sift through all the applicants and after an initial phone interview we can send you a short list of the top 10 candidates.

If you are looking for an accounts person, we can place the final applicant through our online Exemplar Skills Test which takes 2 1/4 hours in our office or yours. The skills tests range in cost from $300 - $500 +GST.

Payroll Services

Simply fax us your payroll on our pre-designed form and we will arrange payslips and deposits to be made on the same day. We have our own range of linked spreadsheets for payroll or we can process it on your designated system.

At the end of the year we can assist with Reconciliations for Payroll, Group Certificates and Workers Compensation. We have been working in payroll for many years, so do not hesitate to ask us questions in relation to award conditions, standard employment contracts and termination of employee advice.

Knowledge with other Accounting Programs

Due our experience with Medium to Large Corporations, there is no accounting system that we shy away from. We have used SAP, JD Edwards, ediEnterprise (specific to the Freight industry), Saasu, MYOB, Quickbooks and many other systems that you have probably never heard of.

We don't recommend you use MYOB to process your payroll as we often encompass problems with the way the program calculates entitlements and payroll liabilities. Being a hands-on payroll expert in a past life, I can recommend some great stand-alone products and I can help with the set-up. The added benefit to a stand-alone payroll package is that it needs a separate password to access and for security purposes, it can be set-up on a different PC in a different location.
